The association of compassionate care and coping with disease among patients undergoing hemodialysis

Abstract Background Compassionate care is one of the concepts that important to patients with chronic diseases, especially for undergoing hemodialysis who deal all kinds problems and sufferings. This study aimed measure level compassionate from perspective assess relationship between coping disease. Methods cross-sectional was conducted on 240 in two centers. The participants were selected by random sampling method. Data collected Schwartz Center Care Scale (SCCCS) Brief COPE scale. data analyzed using SPSS (version 26) software ANOVA, t test, Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results mean score 101.20 ± 17.47 out 120. Among strategies, problem-focused strategies which are considered efficient used more than other emotional-focused avoidance strategies. Moreover, there a significant positive ( p < 0.05). Conclusion According results, providing could help them cope their results showed associated Therefore, it suggested healthcare working units provide high-quality families diseases.
